Vermont Municipal Technical Assistance Program

The Municipal Technical Assistance Program is offered by the State of Vermont Agency of Administration through Vermont's eleven Regional Planning Commissions with support from the Vermont League of Cities and Towns.

Vermont’s smallest municipalities have projects that need help to make progress.  Sometimes the office lacks staff capacity or technical expertise to launch the project.  Other times access to state and federal funding is needed to move the project across the finish line.  Does this describe your town?

If your town is ranked in or above the 50th percentile of the Vermont Community Index or it is in the 25-50th percentile and was "significantly" impacted by the flooding, then it is preapproved to receive FREE* assistance through the Vermont Agency of Administration's Municipal Technical Assistance Program (MTAP) – so NO competitive application is necessary!

What Activities Can MTAP Fund?
