Members of the public are invited to offer insight and directly influence the future of emergency communications (e.g., dispatch services) in Vermont at one of two virtual listening sessions – on October 22 and October 24 – hosted by the Communications Task Force of the Vermont Department of Public Safety. Act 78 of 2024 (through the FY 2024 appropriations act) prioritizes the creation of a more reliable, secure, and interoperable public safety communications system, ensuring that every Vermonter has access to essential public safety services. Public input is critical to the process.
Virtual Session #1: Tuesday, October 22, 2024, 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Virtual Session #2: Thursday, October 24, 2024, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
