The open enrollment period for VLCT's fiscal year group Dental Insurance plans is just getting started! This means that municipalities not already offering this great employee benefit can sign up soon to add it, and those that do offer it should notify their employees that, for instance, they can now add dependents without a qualifying event.
Three exciting details for this year are:
- Rates are holding steady – not increasing at all for either fiscal year or calendar year plans.
- The orthodontic rider is now an option for groups with fewer than six employees.
- An all-new Teledentistry benefit has been added.
The open enrollment period closes in mid-June, 2023, for coverage from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024.
