VTrans is offering to give away 23 sections of 6 ft x 6 ft x 6 ft concrete box culverts. They are located at the Middlesex Garage. The boxes were manufactured by the state bridge crew about 13 years ago. They cannot be used on any project that involves federal funds (no FHWA, FEMA, or any federal grants).
The culverts will require a crane to load. Several towns could pool together to coordinate the cost of a crane.
