The Vermont Climate Council is updating the state’s Climate Action Plan, and subcommittees of the council are holding a series of virtual public meetings to get input on their initial ideas for the update.

Two 90-minute meetings to be held on Tuesday, November 19 will focus specifically on actions that are implemented at the town level. The first will start at 11:00 AM and the second will start at 6:00 PM. Both will touch on a diverse array of proposals for the Climate Action Plan – from cutting climate pollution to land use to adaptation and resilience. Town staff, elected officials, and volunteers are invited to share their perspectives, concerns, stories, and knowledge with the subcommittee.

Learn more and register for either the 11:00 AM meeting or the 6:00 PM meeting.
