FEMA will host a training on floodplain management and National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) basics on Thursday, September 15, from 9 a.m. till noon at the Northeastern Vermont Development Association (NVDA) offices in St. Johnsbury. The NVDA offices are located at 36 Eastern Avenue, #1, in St. Johnsbury. The training will be presented by Julie Grauer, FEMA Region 1 Natural Hazards Specialist, and Sacha Pealer, Vermont DEC Floodplain Manager.

If you are interested in attending remotely, please let us know. The event may be approved for Continuing Education Credits for Certified Floodplain Managers.
