Legislation provides for a Downtown Development Board of 13 members, three of whom are local officials and one of whom is appointed by the VLCT Board of Directors. That seat is vacant and the VLCT Board welcomes nominations from currently serving local officials to fill it. The Downtown Development Board makes designations for village centers, growth centers, new neighborhoods, new town centers, and designated downtowns. It meets on the fourth Monday of the month at the Agency of Commerce and Community Development in Montpelier, unless specified otherwise.

If you are interested in serving on this Board, please download and fill out this form and return it to Karen Horn by Monday, May 1.
